UNF is proud to support this edition of the Femina Vox International Forum, led and founded by Guila Clara Kessous, UNESCO Artist for Peace and Vice President of UNF.

This year’s edition took place in Brazil and highlighted Indigenous women, with a focus on women and climate, while reaffirming the importance of women in diplomacy and promoting positive masculinity.

Following events organized in Campo Grande by Professor Gisèle Marquez and Professor Mara Rute Hercelin, in the heart of the Pantanal, and later in Brasília, Dr. Kessous had the opportunity to lead several art therapy masterclasses for Indigenous women as well as women who are survivors of sexual violence at the Women’s House of Brazil.

Femina Vox brought together more than 2,000 participants, including Márcia Lopes, Minister for Women’s Rights; the parliamentary representative for gender equality; the Mayor of Campo Grande, Camilla Nascimento de Oliveira; Larissa Franco Serpa from the Maria da Penha Law Brigade against domestic violence; and Carla Stephanini, Chief Coordinator of the Women’s House of Brazil, along with official representatives of Indigenous and native women.

Also participating in the event were Fernanda Régis, representative of INEE in Brazil, and Bárbara Elizia, Director of Sports at SESC and one of the honorees during the Brasília gathering. Cristiane Collet, Director of the National Water Agency, and Camila Ítavo, Rector of UFMS, were also in attendance.

Brazilian universities also joined the event, notably UEMS and the Cogna Group, contributing to discussions on the importance of science in building gender equality.

Embratur supported the event and helped place the culture, gastronomy, and ancestral knowledge of Mato Grosso do Sul at the heart of the gathering.

The cultural program was overseen by Professor Marcelo Proença of UFMS, who curated a musical agenda featuring an Indigenous orchestra as well as other musical expressions representing the region’s rich cultural diversity.

The CEAEDD representative in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Adriana Sunakozawa, along with researcher and innovation entrepreneur Soraia Zonta, also took part in the discussions.

The Center for Advanced Studies in Education and Sustainable Development (CEAEDD) and its team provided essential support in the design and structuring of the project in Brazil, facilitating partnerships and coordination among institutional, academic, and cultural stakeholders.

In Brasília, ABRIG, along with the commitment of its Institutional Vice President Fayet and its leadership, played a key role in the success of the event.

In the federal capital, the gathering was marked by a visit to SESC projects in Brasília, an award ceremony, and a moment of awareness and discussion aimed at expanding the “Women Take Care of Themselves” (Mulheres Cuidam de Si) initiative.

This edition was marked by many smiles and strong commitment, particularly around the Femina Pax project and the resolution aimed at strengthening women’s presence at negotiation tables.

Paris, March 29, 2026,

The Same-Mwanga-Korogwe Water Supply Project is a major drinking water supply project in northern Tanzania. It aims to provide clean and reliable water to the populations of the districts of Same and Mwanga (Kilimanjaro region) and Korogwe (Tanga region), located in semi-arid areas west of the Pare Mountains.

This project is often considered one of the most important water projects in recent years in the northern part of the country.

Main Objectives

  • To address the chronic water shortage problem in the semi-arid lowlands.
  • To provide sufficient quantities of safe and high-quality drinking water.
  • To improve public health, hygiene, and the socio-economic development of the beneficiary populations.
  • To reduce the burden of water collection for women and children.

Beneficiaries

  • Approximately 300,000 to 450,000 people, depending on sources (population of the towns of Same and Mwanga plus around 38 to 40 surrounding villages).
  • Primarily covers the districts of Same and Mwanga in the initial phase, with a planned extension to Korogwe.

Technical Features of the Project

  • Water source: Nyumba ya Mungu Dam (an artificial lake on the Pangani River).
  • Current capacity (Phase 1): Increased to 51.65 million liters per day (compared to only 3.7 million previously).
  • Main infrastructure:
    • Water intake at Nyumba ya Mungu Dam
    • Modern pumping stations
    • Pipeline network of more than 130 to 150 km
    • Water treatment facilities
  • The source (Nyumba ya Mungu) has a potential capacity of 103 million liters per day, leaving significant room for future expansion.

Christophe Giovannetti, President of the Union Nations Federation, is very proud to have contributed to the development of this project and congratulates our Ambassador H.E. Fouad Mustafa H. Martis for his outstanding dedication and efforts in supporting this project. We also thank Hon. Jumas H. Aweso (MP) for his invitation to this ceremony and his warm appreciation.

Art and Diplomacy Unite at the Historic Pavillon Henri IV

The Pavillon Henri IV, a prestigious hotel and restaurant classified as a historical monument and overlooking the Seine Valley with an exceptional view of Paris, continues its tradition of celebrating art by hosting remarkable painting exhibitions under the patronage of the Union Nations Federation (UNF).

At the initiative of Charles Éric Hoffmann, owner of the Pavillon Henri IV and Ambassador of the UNF, two exceptional art exhibitions have been organized – one dedicated to Gérard Prévost and the other to Foued Mokrani.

Gérard Prévost: The Journey from Figuration to Abstraction

The exhibition dedicated to Gérard Prévost highlights the artist’s abstract universe, known for his successful transition from figurative painting to a contemporary expression rich in emotion and texture.

Born in 1952, Prévost began his artistic career after studying photography, developing a passion for charcoal and pencil drawing as well as figurative painting.

His early works depicted Parisian streets and doors, later evolving into oil paintings exploring the human body – works that earned him several exhibitions.

After a creative interlude in graphic design and as Art Director of Glint magazine (dedicated to art, photography, and beauty), Prévost returned to painting with renewed energy.

His abstract compositions, marked by contrasts of shadow and light and a tactile use of material, invite viewers on an introspective journey.

Foued Mokrani: Between Humanity, Dreams, and Symbolism

The second exhibition features Foued Mokrani, a Tunis-born (1979) and Francebased self-taught artist whose singular style belongs to the realm of outsider art. His works – a blend of acrylic on canvas, collage, and ceramic relief – explore human relationships and the connection between man and animal, whether real or imaginary.

Drawing inspiration from ethnic art, travel, and daily life, Mokrani’s creations stand out for their vibrant colors, rich textures, and free-form expression reminiscent of Carlo Zinelli, Bill Traylor, or Victor Brauner.

Breaking away from academic conventions, his art is instinctive and deeply personal. His works have been exhibited in France and abroad, including in Canada, and he enjoys a growing international following on social media (@fouedmokrani_the_mantiss).

Art in a Royal Setting

“These exhibitions are part of the cultural programming of this emblematic venue, where Louis XIV was born. Visitors will discover a selection of works that reflect the artists’ imaginations within a royal and panoramic atmosphere – an ideal setting for artistic immersion,” said Christophe Giovannetti, President of the Union Nations Federation (UNF).

He added: “The UNF is proud to welcome artists whose creativity and commitment contribute to building a better world. Art, like diplomacy, is a universal language of peace and humanity.”

Launch of the Carlos Takam Academy:

A Historic Milestone for African Sport

During the conference organized by the UNF (United Nations Federation) at the Palais des Nations in Geneva to mark the 10th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Humanity, Mr. Christophe Giovannetti, President of the UNF and Secretary-General of the Declaration, announced the creation of the Carlos Takam Academy — a historic step forward for African sport.

This initiative, led by the Carlos Takam Foundation, was officially launched in Kigali on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.

A Historic Moment for African and Global Sport

From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Rwandan capital hosted an exceptional program combining inspiring speeches, boxing demonstrations, traditional dances, the unveiling of a unique world championship belt, and the exclusive presentation of the Academy project and its architectural plans.

In an atmosphere both intimate and prestigious, high-ranking personalities, international partners, and friends of the Foundation gathered to mark this historic milestone.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the sparring session by Carlos Takam, former world champion and founder of the Foundation — a deeply emotional performance that particularly moved Prince Albert II, a longtime friend of the athlete.

A Pan-African Vision: A “Champion Factory Made in Africa”

The Carlos Takam Academy is set to become a flagship institution for the training, mentoring, and personal development of young African sports talents. First location: Kigali, Rwanda

Vision: Expansion across the African continent

Goal: To provide African athletes with world-class facilities to unlock their full potential

More than just a training center, the Academy aims to be a sustainable and inclusive ecosystem, integrating sports facilities, leisure spaces, dining areas, esports, offices, and modern infrastructure.

It also seeks to provide financial and social support to young athletes across Africa.

Prestigious Support and International Recognition

The ceremony was honored by the exceptional presence of the World Boxing Council (WBC), which traveled from Mexico for the occasion. Two Heads of State were presented with honorary belts, as a symbol of friendship and recognition:

  • S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco
  • E. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda

On stage, Prince Albert II — a former Olympian — received a customized belt featuring the Monégasque flag and his portrait, surrounded by WBC representatives and members of the Foundation. The following day, Carlos Takam and Victor Silva, WBC Director, were received by President Paul Kagame for a private audience during which they presented him with a personalized, highly symbolic belt designed especially for His Excellency.

Inspiring Figures United Around a Shared Vision

Many prominent figures from the worlds of sport, culture, and business attended the event, including:

David Lappartient, President of the UCI

Hon. Rwego Ngarambe, Minister of State, Rwanda Ministry of Sports

Bashi Ntwari, President of the Rwandan Boxing Federation

Macoumba Touré Sarr, two-time African Para-Cycling Champion

Tegla Loroupe, marathon legend

Jean-Philippe Torres, President Africa, TotalEnergies

Khadja Nin, singer and activist

Jean-François Camilleri, former President of Walt Disney France

A Committed Team and a Clear Roadmap

To bring this vision to life, Carlos Takam relies on a strong and dedicated team:

  • Scorpio Ciftci, Vice President
  • Léon Sala, Vice President

Alongside influential members of the Foundation’s board, including Mauricio Sulaimán and Princess Sophia Wolkonsky.

The official inauguration of the Academy is scheduled for March 2026 in Kigali, with the ambition of becoming a model of success, excellence, and inspiration for the entire African continent.

A Humanitarian Initiative Supported by the UNF

The UNF has launched a humanitarian support program for the Academy, which the public can join via the following link: https://www.unionnationsfederation.org/ All funds raised will be entirely donated to the Carlos Takam Academy.

“Africa is in the DNA of the UNF, and Carlos Takam’s initiative is a dream we can turn into reality. Let us come together behind this project to help athletes born in Africa become champions in Africa,” declared Christophe Giovannetti, President of the UNF.

This partnership, formalized through a Financial Donation and Support Agreement signed on September 1, 2025, includes a significant €650,000,000 (Six Hundred Fifty Million Euros) donation from Quaestus to UNF, dedicated to accelerating the fight against malaria in high-burden regions, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Malaria remains a critical global health challenge, with Sub-Saharan Africa bearing 24% of the world’s disease burden while supported by only 3% of global healthcare workers. UNF’s program, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), aims to deliver innovative health solutions, including the distribution of Aeriashield products, to governments, organizations, and communities worldwide.

This initiative will enhance public health infrastructure, support local economies, and strengthen resilience against malaria’s devastating impact.

The €650,000,000 donation from Quaestus will fund critical components of UNF’s program, including:
  • Production and distribution of over 2 million Aeriashield units per month, utilizing advanced manufacturing capabilities such as an 8-cavity mold designed for high-volume output.
  • Employment of 120 skilled personnel, including engineers, production workers, and quality control staff, to ensure operational excellence.
  • Collaboration with laboratories and logistics partners to maintain rigorous testing and efficient delivery of anti-malaria technologies to affected regions.

“We are deeply honored to partner with Quaestus International Advisory FZCO in this vital mission to combat malaria,” said Mr. Christophe GIOVANNETTI, President of UNF. “

« This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to saving lives and empowering communities, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa, where timely access to health solutions is critical. With Quaestus’s support, we can scale our efforts and make a lasting impact on global public health. »
Quaestus’s contribution reflects its dedication to corporate social responsibility and global humanitarian causes. “Supporting UNF’s anti-malaria program aligns with our values of fostering sustainable development and positive change,” said Mr. Mikael ELMER, CEO of Quaestus International Advisory FZCO. “We are proud to contribute to this initiative, which will benefit millions and strengthen partnerships with governments and UN bodies.”

This collaboration has garnered support from African states and UN agencies, reinforcing UNF’s role as a trusted partner in global health advocacy. The program’s implementation will prioritize transparency, efficiency, and measurable outcomes, ensuring that every euro donated translates into tangible results for malaria-affected communities.

UNF and Quaestus invite stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, and private sector partners, to join this effort to eradicate malaria and build a healthier future.

On World Mosquito Day, August 20, the Union Nations Federation (UNF) reaffirmed its commitment to protecting human lives by launching its new global health initiative: “No Mercy For Malaria.”

World Mosquito Day highlights the urgent threat mosquitoes pose to global health. As mosquito-borne diseases continue to spread, it is essential to strengthen awareness and collective action to protect vulnerable populations, particularly in Africa where malaria remains a leading cause of illness and death.

A Global Health Emergency

Every year, hundreds of thousands of people die from malaria, with the vast majority of cases occurring in sub-Saharan Africa. Children and displaced populations are especially at risk. The human, social, and economic cost of this disease continues to undermine communities and development.

“Mosquito-borne diseases are a silent war against humanity. We cannot remain passive — we must act now with determination and innovation,” said Christophe Giovannetti, President of the UNF and Secretary-General of the Universal Declaration of Humankind Rights – DDHu.

The “No Mercy For Malaria” Program

Through this initiative, the UNF is committed to:

  • Supporting prevention and education programs to reduce infection rates in African communities.
  • Empowering local organizations to lead grassroots campaigns.
  • Distributing Aeriashield anti-mosquito products to vulnerable populations, providing accessible and effective protection.

By combining public awareness, local engagement, and innovative tools, No Mercy For Malaria aims to drastically reduce the burden of malaria and save lives across the continent.

UNF’s Mission: Protecting Humanity

The Union Nations Federation has always placed human dignity and protection at the core of its mission. With No Mercy For Malaria, the organization underscores that peace and human security are inseparable — fighting disease is also fighting for peace, justice, and the future of humanity.

Protecting Humanity, Today and Tomorrow

The Universal Declaration of Humankind Rights (UDHu) is a foundational text born of the conviction that human rights must extend to all of humankind, including future generations. In the face of mounting environmental, climate, social, and ethical crises, the Declaration offers a bold new framework rooted in the principles of intergenerational solidarity, collective responsibility, global equity, and the preservation of life.

In this spirit, the UDHu has created a global network of Ambassadors and Young Ambassadors: committed individuals across all regions of the world who embody and promote the values of the Declaration and take concrete action for a more sustainable and just future.

Each year, the UDHu seeks to highlight remarkable figures, both young and adult, whose inspiring efforts bring to life the vision and principles of the Declaration.

This recognition is not only a tribute to individual commitment—it is also a way to ignite collective momentum. By showcasing these exemplary journeys, the UDHu encourages other citizens, institutions, and policymakers to actively contribute to the construction of a more just and viable future.

These ambassadors represent a new ethic of action, where words lead to deeds, and awareness transforms into shared responsibility. They demonstrate that, around the globe, people are working to turn the principles of the UDHu into tangible reality.

A Committed and Visionary Youth
Shanariha Evans – Young Ambassador UDHu – Kenya

In a world where youth increasingly speak out on the major issues of our time, Shanariha Evans, just 13 years old, stands out with extraordinary maturity and commitment.

Founder of the Young Warriors Club Kenya, she has mobilized hundreds of young people around key environmental and educational actions:

  • Restoration of coastal ecosystems (mangroves, coral reefs),
  • Ocean conservation and combating marine pollution,
  • Biodiversity and climate change awareness workshops,
  • Climate literacy programs in rural schools.

With her energy, clarity of thought, and strong sense of responsibility, Shanariha embodies what many call the “climate generation”: a generation unwilling to wait, ready to act. She proves that age is no barrier to impact.

“It’s no longer enough to hope for a better future. We must build it, every day, with courage.”
— Shanariha Evans

The UDHu is proud to recognize her as Young Ambassador 2025, and invites you to explore her work at: www.youngwarriorsclub.org

A Humanist Legal Thinker and Practitioner
Eduardo C. B. Bittar – Ambassador UDHu – Brazil

A leading intellectual figure in South America, Eduardo C. B. Bittar is a jurist, professor at the University of São Paulo (USP), and a scholar in philosophy of law. For years, he has worked to integrate the rights of humankind into legal education, research, and judicial practice.

In 2025, his commitment was demonstrated through numerous concrete and symbolic actions:

  • Integration of the UDHu into first-year law courses at USP, reaching over 120 students,
  • Supervision of a master’s thesis on climate refugees and human rights through art, citing the UDHu,
  • Free dissemination of the Declaration to the School of Magistracy of Tocantins (ESMAT), with permanent access in their library,
  • Symbolic planting of native trees, representing intergenerational transmission,
  • A keynote lecture on human rights education in Latin America, delivered in Palmas,
  • Participation in a UNF seminar on climate at the United Nations in Geneva,
  • Publication of a major article in Jornal Conjur entitled “Universal Declaration of Humankind Rights: Climate Change and the Call for Change.”

Looking ahead to 2026, he will continue his efforts with the publication of a new chapter on climate justice in a philosophy of law textbook, and a scientific article on vulnerabilities in Latin America referencing the UDHu.

“The rights of humankind are not a utopia. They are our horizon for justice.”
— Eduardo C. B. Bittar

Pierre-Adrien Gilbert – Young Ambassador UDHu – France

A political science student, Pierre-Adrien Gilbert represents a committed and clearsighted generation, driven by action. Passionate about climate justice, international solidarity, and human rights, he has quickly become a young and determined voice in advocacy networks for sustainable development.

Appointed in 2025 as Young Ambassador of the Universal Declaration of Humankind Rights (UDHu) for France, he joined a global circle of engaged youth promoting the Declaration’s six rights and six duties in public debate, institutions, and civil society mobilizations.

That same year, he participated in the 10th anniversary celebration of the UDHu in Geneva, a symbolic event bringing together diplomats, legal scholars, academics, and activists to reflect on the progress—and the challenges—linked to the recognition of the rights of future generations, nature, and all living beings.

Pierre-Adrien balances his studies with active involvement: attending conferences, leading youth workshops on humankind rights, and speaking at public forums. He embodies a new generation of leadership—intellectually rigorous, ethically grounded, and deeply engaged.

When Generations Unite…

The joint recognition of Shanariha Evans, Eduardo C. B. Bittar and Pierre-Adrien Gilbert illustrates the complementarity between youthful energy and seasoned wisdom. Though their paths differ, their shared commitment aims at the same goal: to ensure a dignified, sustainable, and just future for all of humanity.

“When youth and adults come together with the same dedication to uphold the principles of the Universal Declaration of Humankind Rights, then everything becomes possible.”
— Christophe Giovannetti, Secretary General of the UDHu

“The UDHu is rooted in the chain of past, present, and future generations. But only the engagement of future generations will allow the realization of the rights and duties of humankind.”

The Dove of Peace Takes Flight on the Red Carpet at the Cannes Film Festival 2025

Two days after the international conference marking the 10th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Humankind Rights at the United Nations Palace in Geneva, the Union Nations Federation (UNF) reaffirmed its commitment to peace and human dignity through a highly symbolic gesture: the release of the dove of peace on the red carpet of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. This emotional and meaningful act was performed by Guila Clara Kessous, UNESCO Artist for Peace, Vice President of the UNF, and Board Member of the Universal Declaration of Humankind Rights, in the heart of one of the world’s most iconic cultural events.

The release of a dove is a universal symbol of peace, steeped in history and spirituality. Since antiquity, the white dove has represented hope, freedom, and reconciliation. It embodies humanity’s deep aspiration to live in a world free of conflict, united in brotherhood. Christophe Giovannetti, President of the UNF, honored the moment with these words: “The release of the dove of peace transcends cultures and time. It is a resounding call for hope, a reminder that even amidst turmoil, humanity longs for a more peaceful future.”

This moment of grace is part of the ongoing mission of the UNF and the Friends of the Universal Declaration of Humankind Rights to uphold the values of peace, environmental and social justice, and intergenerational solidarity across all sectors of society—including the cultural and artistic spheres.

Notably, this was the first time in the history of the Cannes Film Festival that a dove of peace took flight on the red carpet. No other artist has ever made such a call for peace in this epicenter of French art and culture, making this gesture both historic and profoundly symbolic. Through this release, a powerful message was sent to the world: peace is a choice, a commitment, and a shared responsibility.
